Student Joins National Philharmonic

DMA student Arminé Chamasyan Graham has recently won membership in the National Philharmonic after competing in a rigorous blind audition involving two dozen professional violinists. The orchestra is in residence at the Music Center at Strathmore, has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, with world renowned soloists such as Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Leon Fleisher and Richard Stoltzman, and each year performs for 20,000 elementary school students in Montgomery County Maryland.
